I originally started this website as a personal process around my FTM transition. It has served me well, and judging from the over-1,000 emails from visitors over the past 5 years, it has served the public well, too. Over time it has morphed from a personal process to a collection of resources for others to learn about their trans* friends and family or even themselves. I have keep it updated, but not without significant personal and professional risk. I would like to continue to keep it updated for now and the foreseeable future so have now added a place to accept donations to support the financial aspect of running this website. A lot of people don't realize that it costs money to run a website that is free of advertisements and pop-ups. If you would like to contribute to assist with the on-going web hosting and maintenance of this site, I would be extremely appreciative. It costs about $260/year, or a little more than $20/month, to keep this site and all of its resources up on the web. All donations go directly towards off-setting the costs of hosting this website, and all donations, in any amount, help ensure the website's availabilty to others in the future. I believe this website contains information that is and will continue to be useful to others, and I am constantly reminded of this through many visitors' heartfelt emails.
