location:  Body Art  >  Tattoo  >  Armband The summer of 2002 was filled with life-changing choices...in particular, I decided to pursue gender therapy to work towards starting hormones (see Transition). So in July 2002, I got my third tattoo. I had always wanted an armband, but I didn't necessarily want one of those traditional "barbed wire" ones. I love tribal tattoos, and I wanted something that represented diversity, both cultural diversity and the diversity of thoughts and feelings I've worked through to get where I am today.
